Q1. Can you apostille my TEFL/TESOL certificate?

Yes. TEFL/TESOL certificates, degree certificates, and transcripts can all be solicitor-certified and apostilled. Most teachers request these when applying for overseas teaching roles.

Q2. Do I need to send my original documents?

In most cases, no. A clear scan and a short Zoom call with our UK solicitor are sufficient. We create a solicitor-certified copy, which is then apostilled by the FCDO. If an overseas authority insists on the original, we’ll let you know in advance.

Q3. What if I’m already teaching abroad?

That’s no problem. The process is fully online. You can email scans and join the Zoom call from anywhere in the world. We then handle the certification and apostille in the UK and, if needed, courier the completed documents to you overseas.

Q4. How long does the process take?

Most documents are completed within 8 working days after your Zoom check. Faster services are available if your school or visa deadline is urgent. Please contact us if you wish to discuss faster services.

Yes. Apostilles issued by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) are internationally recognised under The Hague Apostille Convention. They are valid in countries that are members of the Convention (which includes most TEFL teaching destinations).

Q7. What if the school I’m applying to asks for extra authentication?

Some schools or ministries may ask for embassy legalisation in addition to an apostille. If this applies to you, just let us know — we can advise and arrange the additional steps.

Within the UK, delivery is available by Royal Mail 1st Class Post (£5). Other methods (such as tracked courier) and overseas delivery options are also available — just contact us to discuss the best option for your location.

Q10. Can multiple documents be bundled under one apostille?

Generally, each document requires its own apostille. However, in some cases (e.g. degree certificate + transcript), we may be able to bundle them into a single solicitor-certified package if the receiving authority confirms they will accept it. This can save on cost and processing time. Please ask us before submitting if you would like to explore this option.
