二、为什么 UCLan 文件要先确认新旧名称？

UCLan 文件最容易出错的地方，是学校改名和历史前身较多。

一般历史关系可以理解为：

• Preston Polytechnic
• Lancashire Polytechnic
• University of Central Lancashire / UCLan
• University of Lancashire

如果证书显示 University of Central Lancashire，不代表文件需要重发。
如果证书显示 Lancashire Polytechnic 或 Preston Polytechnic，也不应直接判断为无效。
真正重要的是：当时是谁授予 award，以及现在应通过哪条路线验证或补发文件。

三、HEDD Verification 路线

University of Lancashire 是 HEDD exclusive partner。第三方 degree verification 通常应通过 HEDD 处理。

申请 HEDD 时，通常需要上传 candidate signed consent form。
但 HEDD 不一定替代成绩单。如果接收方需要 modules、credits、grades、course content、clinical hours、placement details 或 professional training record，仍应考虑 Academic Transcript、Statement of Achievement / Attendance、official letter 或其他学校文件。

四、Replacement Certificate、Transcript 和 Statement 的区别

Replacement Certificate

Replacement Certificate 通常适用于原始证书 lost、damaged 或 destroyed 的情况。

对于 1992 年 7 月以后 awards，通常可向 University of Lancashire 申请 replacement certificate。
如果 award 早于 1992 年 7 月，应先确认是否涉及 CNAA 或其他 awarding body。

如果申请人仍持有 original certificate，只是为了海外使用，未必需要 replacement certificate。很多情况下，solicitor certified copy + FCDO Apostille 或 HEDD verification 已足够。

Academic Transcript

Academic Transcript 通常列出：

• modules undertaken
• credit value
• grades achieved
• overall result

它适合海外大学申请、WES、专业注册、雇主成绩核查和中国大陆学历文件提交。

但要注意：1999 年前 transcripts 并非所有 former students 都可提供。如果学校无法出具 transcript，可能会提供 Statement of Achievement / Attendance。

Statement of Achievement / Attendance

Statement of Achievement / Attendance 通常可确认：

• attendance dates
• course / programme of study
• result obtained
• medium of instruction, if applicable

它适合 proof of study 或 proof of award，但不一定替代 transcript。
如果接收方明确要求 modules、credits 和 grades，仍应优先申请 transcript。

五、1992 年 7 月前 award、CNAA 和 Pearson 路线

如果文件属于 1992 年 7 月前 Preston Polytechnic / Lancashire Polytechnic award，不能自动按现代 University of Lancashire replacement certificate route 处理。

很多旧 polytechnic degree awards 可能涉及 CNAA, 即 Council for National Academic Awards。CNAA 已不再存在，相关 verification 或 replacement route 可能需要通过 Open University CNAA aftercare 处理。

如果文件是：

• HND
• HNC
• BTEC
• Edexcel qualification
• Pearson qualification

七、WES、DOATAP 和海牙认证不是同一件事

WES Transcript 是学历评估文件路线，不等于 apostille。
DOATAP Statement 通常适用于希腊 DOATAP authority，不一定适用于中国大陆、香港、新加坡或阿联酋用途。

FCDO Apostille 是英国文件海外使用的法律认证路线。
通常流程是：

University of Lancashire / UCLan 文件
→ HEDD verification 或学校文件核查
→ solicitor certification
→ FCDO Apostille
→ overseas use

如果是非海牙国家，例如 UAE、Qatar、Kuwait 或 Saudi Arabia，可能还需要：
