A third-party request should normally include:

The University may ask for further information before releasing the academic record.
ULIP delivers programmes in Paris, but its students receive University of London qualifications.
Transcripts and official documents
The University of London provides former students with several document options.
These include:
- academic transcripts;
- Letters of Certification;
- certified certificate copies;
- certified syllabus copies; and
- replacement certificates.
A transcript can show the papers taken, marks or grades, registration dates where known, classification and award date.
A Letter of Certification formally confirms the award and may be used for employment, further study or visa purposes.
Replacement certificates
The University of London can replace certificates that it originally issued.
Only one original degree certificate is normally issued. A graduate requesting certified copies must provide a scan of the existing certificate.
Where the certificate was issued by another institution or federation member, that institution may need to provide the replacement.
Solicitor verification and certification
A basic solicitor-certified copy confirms that the copy matches the document presented to the solicitor.
It does not independently prove that the candidate received the qualification.
