如果 Bank of Ireland UK 要求你提交文件的 certified copy（认证复印件）或 certified true copy（认证属实复印件），最快避免被退件的方式，就是严格按他们的要求来：
- 使用符合要求的文件（并且在允许的有效期/出具时间范围内）
- 复印清晰
- 由 Bank of Ireland UK 接受的专业人士进行认证
- 写上符合要求的认证用语 + 认证人必须包含的资料
- 将认证后的复印件邮寄至他们指定的地址

什么是 “certified copy”
Certified copy（认证复印件）是指：由合资格人士确认“该复印件与其见到的原件一致”的文件副本。
Bank of Ireland UK 表示可接受黑白复印件，只要认证方式正确、认证人符合资格即可。
1) 可接受文件：身份证明的认证复印件
从以下文件中选择一种（务必留意年限要求）：
- Full UK/EU passport — no more than 10 years old
- Paper-style UK driving licence — no more than 51 years old
- Full or provisional photocard driving licence — no more than 10 years old
- Disabled persons card (photo & reference) — no more than 10 years old
- Pension / allowance / benefit book — must show full name, valid and in date
- Shotgun or firearm certificate — must be valid and in date

2) 可接受文件：住址证明的认证复印件

- Utility bill (electricity, gas, water, or landline phone) — no more than 3 months old

- Solicitor letter confirming the purchase of the property lived in — no more than 3 months old
- Credit card or bank statement — no more than 3 months old
- Mortgage statement — no more than 13 months old
- Tax coding notice — no more than 13 months old
- Northern Ireland electorate identity card — no more than 10 years old

- Accountant
- Attorney

- Business stamp (if they have one)
If no stamp: include company name and address

邮寄要求
Bank of Ireland UK 要求将认证后的文件邮寄至其指定地址。 他们也建议你在每一份文件上写上按揭账户号码（mortgage account number），以便更快处理。
文件常见被退件原因
- 文件太旧（超出允许的 3 / 13 / 10 年期限）
- 认证人未写联系电话或日期
- 缺少公司地址（或“如有盖章但未盖章”）
- 认证用语未清楚表明“真实副本 / 已见原件”
- 认证人不在可接受名单内，或为本人/近亲属文件做认证
